Pop-Up Adoption Event and Fundraiser
Are you ready to meet your best furry friend?
We have a MOUNTAIN of spectacular cats and kittens looking for homes right now Friends and Felines, and every single one of them wants the chance to join your family more than anything else!
We want to do everything possible to help them find their perfect matches - So, our volunteers will be hosting a pop-up adoption event at our shelter this weekend, as well as a sales table to raise money for our feline residents!!
On Sunday, July 28th, come on over to the front door of our shelter at 25 Hart Drive for the chance to meet an incredible selection of our adoption-ready cats and kittens from noon until 4:00pm!
Our adoption team will be on location wiggling their whiskers in excitement in hopes of helping you meet your dream kitty! If you fall head over heels in love, we'll be ready with applications so that you can take your new kitty come on the spot!
This is a BYOC event - Bring Your Own Carrier!
All of our available cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, given flea and parasite treatment, and the vast majority are microchipped.
Adoption fees can be paid by cash, debit, or credit.
This is an AWESOME opportunity to meet, greet, and get to know our kitties in person, especially if you happened to miss our recent Petsmart adoption event! Rest assured, there's no shortage of kitties who are ready to light up your life.
Rambunctious, calm, outgoing, playful, talkative, relaxed, no matter what your ideal kitty looks like, we'd love to see you this Sunday!
Open Air Dunlop Event
On July 27th from 10am to 3pm, our volunteers will be waiting to see you at Open Air Dunlop in downtown Barrie alongside the Barrie Thunder Classics Car Club!
We'll have our fundraising table stocked high with handmade goodies and other awesome treasures to browse, all in support of our cats and kittens. Of course, our volunteers will also be happy to chat with you and give you all of the resources you need to lend a paw and get involved with Furry Friends1
Barrie Thunder Classics Car Club Weekly Meetup
What could be better than enjoying good company, browsing incredible classic vehicles, and supporting cats and kittens in need? Come and see us at the Barrie Thunder Classics Car Club meet up every Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm!
Located at the H-Block parking lot next to the Downtown Barrie Public Library (the entrance is off Mcdonald Street), join us as we team up with Barrie Thunder Classics Car Club for their weekly car showcase!
We'll have a booth set up with all sorts of info on how you can get involved with our rescue and lend a paw, how your support helps rescue cat and kitten lives, and some kitty toys available by donation!
There's also an ice cream truck, a hot dog cart, and of course a huge array of classic and modern muscle cars to check out!
It's going to be a blast Friends and Felines, and we'll be partnering with Barrie Thunder Classics Car Club all the way 'till September!
