Friends and Felines, we're looking to expand our fundraising team, and we'd love to have you join us and help raise money for the hundreds of cats and kittens we rescue every year!
Fundraising is the backbone of every non-profit and we're no exception - Without the incredible support of our phenomenally generous community, we wouldn't be here talking to you right now and celebrating 25 years of saving little lives! We receive no government funding, so everything we do is paid for by the donations that we work tirelessly to gather all year long.
Furry Friends runs entirely on volunteer power, we have no paid staff, which means every penny raised through our many fundraising initiatives goes directly to felines in need: Bakesales, vendor tables, raffles, auctions, donation boxes, goodie bags, events, calendars, 50/50s, you name it and we've probably had our fundraising paws in it!
We need compassionate folks who can help us pound the pavement, run events, gather donations, and keep the Furry Friends dream alive. We need YOU!
Times are tough for everyone right now both inside and outside of the rescue world, and donations are a lot lower than usual. That means that we're working twice as hard to keep rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding new homes for 500+ vulnerable cats and kittens that rely on us every year.
Whether you're an experienced fundraising aficionado or just a fellow cat lover who wants to help a local rescue, we'd be absolutely thrilled to have you on our team.
