Six year old Smokey is a big guy with a soft heart, this gentle giant has come a long way from the timid guy he was when we first met!
Although there’s no denying that Smokey is still shy when he’s getting to know new people, with lots of TLC and encouragement from our volunteers, Smokey has opened up into an incredible, affectionate kitty.
With luscious long locks and a doughy personality, Smokey likes to be pampered and spoiled like a king. Brush him out, fluff his fur and indulge in a lovely spa day with him, Smokey is going to be a very happy camper to have your extra attention.
Recently Smokey has discovered that being in a lap isn’t that bad at all! You can scoop him up onto you, and he will curl up like a cinnamon bun as he settles in. With some more encouragement, we imagine that Smokey will start to venture up for a cuddle all on his own.
When it comes to play time, Smokey is very fond of cardboard scratchers and chase tracks with balls in them! He also likes to hop up and down from his shelves and cat trees, generally content to be wherever he can keep an eye on you as you go about your day.
All that Smokey needs to thrive is your gentle care and patience as he settles in by your side, and you’ll be amazing BFFs.
