Oreo is one half of a perfectly bonded pair, she is looking for her forever home alongside her sister Cookie!
Look out world, here comes 12 year old Oreo! A downright sunny kitty with a huge appetite for affection (and snacks), Oreo is easy to fall head over heels in love with. Between her snuggly attitude and adoration of being held in your arms, whoever ends up with Oreo and her sister Cookie will be in for the most amazing duo you could ever ask for.
Oreo rules the top of cat trees and uses their height to be at the perfect vantage point for kisses, cuddles, and head butts - You will often find her lounging languidly and waiting for you to come by! Cookie is usually never far, and between the two of them, you’re going to have your arms full of purring tuxedo goodness.
Oreo would happily spend every moment of her day with you, whether she’s being brushed to perfection or you’re just chatting about your day. She loves to listen, and although she is a quiet gal, you may occasionally hear Oreo’s musical meow if she really has something to say!
Oreo greatly enjoys rubbing her cheeks along your legs and any furniture that she can reach, so don’t be afraid to give her a good chin scratch.
Oreo gets along well with children, and seems to be okay with other cats.
Something to know about Oreo is that she has a condition called Iris melanosis in her left eye - This causes an increase in the pigmentation of her eye, resulting in it’s lovely dark colour. This does not cause Oreo any discomfort, but regular veterinary check ups will ensure that Oreo stays in tip top shape.
