Hold onto your hats Friends and Felines, here comes the magnificent eight year old Leo!
We can’t say enough good things about this ultra handsome tuxedo: After surviving an incredibly rough two years of living on the streets without any humans to take care of him, Leo is here with us today as an unwaveringly kind, gentle, and affectionate kitty. All that this sweet dude wants is to be loved, safe, and to never have to worry about fending for himself again!
Leo is soft-hearted from the tip of his ears to the end of his wiggly tail, despite his well-loved teddy bear appearance (life on the streets did a number on his fur), there isn’t a mean bone in Leo’s body. If he could spend all day long lounging in a soft bed with you by his side, he would be perfectly content.
Leo may be a little shy when you’re first getting to know him, but it never lasts long. He is a naturally social cat, and he gravitates towards new people - You can help earn his trust by offering him plenty of delicious snacks and lots of pets! Leo loves to sit and purr as he gazes up at his human friends - He is very attentive, and is always happy to be a part of whatever you’re doing.
Leo gets along GREAT with kids, and he has no problems with other cats.
Something to know about me: When Leo first arrived in our care, he had to have a cancerous growth removed from his eyelid. Further testing showed that it has not spread elsewhere in Leo's body, but it would be a great idea for Leo to have regular check ups at the vets to ensure that nothing develops in the future. Leo is also an FIV+ kitty - Ask our volunteers for more info about Leo’s needs!
